Jaime H. Bensimon, MD

Dr. Jaime H. Bensimon is a triple board-certified physician in internal medicine, geriatrics, and cardiology, licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States. He completed his internship at McGill University, internal medicine residency at Notre Dame Hospital, and cardiology fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute. With over 44 years of experience in Palm Beach County, Dr. Bensimon has dedicated his career to the well-being of his patients, staying current with the latest medical advancements, and providing the highest quality care. Dr. Bensimon is supported by a highly qualified team, including a skilled nurse practitioner and experienced medical assistants, ensuring every patient receives comprehensive and personalized care. Committed to professionalism and excellence, his mission is to offer state-of-the-art medical services with compassion and integrity. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bensimon has been happily married since 1977, and he cherishes his family, including children and grandchildren.
Maria Flora, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner
Maria Flora, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC is a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 26 years of nursing experience, including extensive work in open-heart surgery and cardiac step-down care. She earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Florida Atlantic University, after completing her foundational nursing education at St. John's College of Nursing. She is certified in Advanced Nursing Management (ANM) and has specialized training in wellness care, PICC line insertion, and midline catheter placement. Dr. Flora has served as an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner for three years and also brings experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and is known for her attentive, compassionate approach to every patient she serves. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Flora has been happily married for 23 years and is the proud mother of three sons. She maintains a close connection with her family in India and draws strength from her faith in Jesus Christ, which guides her commitment to serving others with compassion and humility.
Laura McCallum
Facility Director & Lead Medical Assistant
Laura McCallum has 37 years of experience in the medical field working in doctor's offices. The first 35 years was with an internist who specialized in geriatrics and hyperbaric medicine. This specialization has given Laura extensive care for wounds and an understanding of helping people in the latter years of their lives. More recently she has gained experience in administering GLP injections and educating her patients with their dietary needs. She graduated from Palm Beach State College with an associate degree and went through a nursing program from a private school. She also graduated from North Tech with a degree in medical assisting. She has enjoyed every moment of her working career and hopes to expand her knowledge at Palm Beach Medical Center. She and her husband Patrick live in Port Saint Lucie, Florida with their two sons John and Jacob. John is working as a welder in Jensen Beach and Jacob is an 11th grader at Legacy High School in Port Saint Lucie.
